  • ANOTHER RESOLUTION ATTEMPTED

    In keeping with this year's resolutions, I'm beginning a diet today.

    It seems that America's abundance of food has widened my girth just a tad or two. That, or my clothes are shrinking. Kathy's convinced my girth has in fact widened so this morning I began with a blended drink made with some fresh fruit my sister Tammy's store. I'm also slowly making progress in another resolution, learning another language--Turkish--to a remedial level.

    March Madness is in the air again. Last year, I was ashamed of myself for not being faithful to my alma mater, Florida. After the Gators won the tournament, I kicked myself for not choosing them in all the basketball pools. As penance, I will forego any pools this year, including Sonne's, and root for my beloved Gators from the armchair in the den. Care to see what bracket the Gators are in? A rhetorical question.
