  • DINNER WITH SIM & CO.

With Sim in Florida We had a great time tonight with Sim and his Bethel College friends who were down on Spring break. Actually, a couple of them have already graduated; like Eileen, Sim's girlfriend (and a real peach) who's working as an ICU nurse in North Carolina. Then there was Peter, a freelance photographer and...who brought his Canon 5D and let me play around with it. I was too nervous to really enjoy it but it was a lot of fun taking pictures of everyone (so much that I forgot to use my camera, hence the lack of photos). Maybe I'll beSim and Eileen able to pull some down from Peter's website and post them here later. Ben and I hit it right off since he admired our Settlers game saying, "It's my favorite!"  He's also a big fan of the TV series Lost and is a computer-related guy as it relates to Theater. Last but not least was Deanne, whom I tried to recruit as an RA. She seemed pretty interested so maybe Sim can take it to the next level like he did with Sarah C. Deanna gave us a bottle of bing black cherry cider from their family's orchard.

Kathy and Mom prepared a wonderful dinner. I grilled steaks to go along with the fruit salad, baked potatoes, yams, broccoli with cheese and Ghiradelli brownies.

Wow, so we've been able to meet several of Sonne alumni recently. Who's next?
